The Kal-Haven Trail is an outdoor trail that connects Kalamazoo to South Haven, spanning 33 miles. It is ideal for walking, biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and some areas of the trail allow horseback riding.

This program includes supporting businesses in writing grants to secure funding for automation technology, free trainings, tools, and assessments available through organizational partners, and connecting local suppliers and producers to increase the exchange of materials and goods within the community. Our strong involvement and partnership with local employers led to 5 business retentions and expansions, 531 jobs created and retained which equaled a total of $45.1 million in overall economic impact during the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
